New to working with a designer?

Here’s the short version.

If this is your first time engaging an interior designer, here it is in plain language: we help you choose everything your home needs — colours, materials, furniture and finishes — so your kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms feel considered and cohesive.

You approve each step before we move on. No pressure, no obligation.

The process

How it works, in five simple steps.

01

We chat about your style, budget and what you need each room to do.

02

We put together mood boards and colour ideas for your sign-off — nothing is final until you approve it.

03

We choose the practical things — paint, tiles, benchtops, taps, handles and lighting — that tie the whole home together.

04

We visit two showrooms with you in person, so you can see and touch everything before committing.

05

We hand you a clear shopping list with links, ready to order at your own pace.

What we’ll do

The design selection process, stage by stage.

Our Interior Decoration service runs through four stages, covering every selection your home needs — from first concept through to your final in-person confirmation.

Stage 1

Initial consultation & concept

  • A one-on-one conversation to understand your style, needs and budget
  • Digital mood boards to set the visual direction — colour palette and material feel
Stage 2

Internal finishes schedule

  • Paint — every internal wall, ceiling and trim colour
  • Flooring — primary flooring (engineered timber or hybrid) and bedroom carpet
  • Tiling — floor and wall tiles for bathrooms, ensuite, laundry and kitchen splashback
  • Cabinetry — finishes (laminate or 2-pac) and profiles for kitchen, laundry and bathroom vanities
  • Benchtops — engineered stone or laminate, for kitchen, laundry and vanities
Stage 3

Fixtures & hardware schedule

  • Tapware — kitchen, laundry and bathroom taps, mixers and showerheads
  • Sanitary ware — toilets, basins and bathtubs
  • Hardware — internal door handles and cabinetry pulls
  • Lighting — feature pendants and guidance on downlight style and colour
Stage 4

In-person supplier visits

  • Two in-person consultations at supplier showrooms, so tiles and benchtops can be finalised in person
Room by room

What we’ll do in each space.

  • A digital mood board and style direction for each bedroom
  • Furniture selection and a layout plan
  • Wardrobe design and layout, where needed
  • Colour palette, textiles and lighting guidance
  • Bedroom carpet selection
  • A shopping list with sourcing links
Bathroom
  • Floor and wall tiling selection
  • Vanity cabinetry finish and benchtop selection

A recent project

Five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a full kitchen — delivered remotely.

A recent Bespoke Full-Service project refreshed all five bedrooms (including a master wardrobe design), three bathrooms and the kitchen of a Southern NSW home — delivered entirely through our E-Design packages, with two in-store shopping visits and a facade colour scheme included along the way.

Roughly how it runs

Full design timeline.

Week 1
Onboarding, questionnaire, contract signed.
Weeks 2–3
Mood boards, colour palette, floor plan.
Weeks 3–4
Client review and feedback session.

Kitchen and bathroom selections include two in-person showroom visits to finalise tiles and benchtops before ordering.

Getting familiar

A few words you’ll see in this process.

E-Design
A remote design service — we work from photos and measurements you send us, rather than an in-person install.
Mood board
A visual collage showing the colours, textures and furniture style we’re proposing for a room.
Finishes schedule
The full list of materials for a space — paint colours, flooring, tiles, cabinetry and benchtops.
Fixtures & hardware
The smaller functional pieces — tapware, sinks, door handles and light fittings.
Shopping list
Your final, itemised list of everything selected, with links to purchase.
Why Bespoke Full-Service Design

Every step, approved by you.

This is designed to feel comfortable even if you’ve never worked with a designer before.

Nothing final without sign-off

Mood boards, colours and every schedule are presented for your approval before we move forward.

See it before you buy it

Two in-person showroom visits mean tiles and benchtops are chosen by touch, not just a screen.

Remote-friendly

Delivered through E-Design from photos and measurements — no need to be in Sydney for most of the process.

Investment

Priced per project.

Scope varies with the number of rooms and the extent of finishes and fixtures involved, so every project is quoted individually after your initial consultation.

Common questions

Before you enquire

I’ve never worked with a designer before — is this for me?

Yes. This process is built for exactly that. You approve each step, so nothing moves forward until you’re comfortable with it.

Do I have to be in Sydney?

No. Most of the process is delivered remotely through E-Design, from photos and measurements you send us. Two in-person showroom visits are included for finalising tiles and benchtops.

What rooms does this cover?

As many as your project needs — kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are covered in detail, and the process scales to whichever rooms you’re refreshing.

What if I only want some of it?

Let us know during your consultation — the four stages can be scoped to the parts of your home that actually need attention.

How do we start?

Message us on WhatsApp with a bit about your home and which rooms you’re thinking about. We’ll book your initial consultation from there.

Let’s choose everything your home needs, together.

“Ana helped us with our new home from tile selection to floor carpet, lighting, feature wall, kitchen cabinets colour and overall interior of the house. Furniture selection and decorative pieces to dining tables and coffee tables as well as family photo gallery — everything we worked together. She put down all our efforts and different ideas of brainstorming to reality, making it more beautiful and lovable. Everybody is happy with the interior and we can’t thank Ana enough. A great designer, easy to work with.”
